RoS Tutorials - Sharing your textures with the rest of Poserdom

Make sure you have either my demo model ready in your runtime, or one of your own choosing ready. If you are using my demo model, follow the folder placement set up in the zip file, placing the libraries folder in whichever Runtime works best for you. I also have a test folder set up somewhere to save things to when working with so I don't mess any of my other stuff up.

Placement of the texture file does not matter for the moment, as later we will go in and edit our pz2 file to point in the right direction. I generally keep things on my desktop while working and testing, but put it where it works best for you and you can remember where it is.

The demo model is a figure based prop, simply because normal props do not handle matpose files well if you want to use the same thing more than once. Just something to keep in mind if you create a prop model and want to have multiple matpose files along with it.

First step of course is to start up Poser and load your model. Once your model is loaded, head on over to the materials room. I won't go into all the fun stuff you can do with the materials room here, but set things up how you want them.

For mine, I connected the texture map to the bump node to give things a little extra oomph.

Once you have everything set up the way you want, head back to the main Poser window
