RoS Tutorials - Sharing your textures with the rest of Poserdom

Here's some extra things to include in your zip package if you like:

I include at least a basic Readme file with my stuff...some people will actually use them and keep them...and others will just ignore them...but I feel it is a good idea to have one included. I also try to name it something other than just readme, including some small part of what the project is.

Some of the info I include with my readmes:

You can take a look at various readmes and terms of use files that come with various downloads and create one that will work best to fit your needs and protect your works.

Making your Matpose work with older versions of Poser:

If you want to make your matpose from P5 work with P4, there's a couple things you'll have to keep in mind. P4 does not have all those fun material settings, so if you have any of them set up, P4 users will not be able to do anything with them. If your matpose simply changes out a texture map, then it will still work fine with P4. You will need to open the pz2 file up with your text editor and change the version number from 5 to 4.01.

Using a program like P3d0 Explorer with the Poser plugin pack, you can convert your png thumb to an rsr thumb with the click of a button, since rsr files are what P4 uses.

P4 compatibility is completely up to you...Whenever I do something that is specific to P5, I make sure that people can see that info on the download page before they grab the file.
