RoS Tutorials - Sharing your textures with the rest of Poserdom

Now that you have your folders all set up, we're ready to move on.

Open your pz2 file with a text editor. You should see something similar to the image below. Take note of the file path for the texture location....we will have to change this before we can share these with anyone else since it's set for our own local machine.

Highlight the text between the " " and replace it with something similar to the following:

:Runtime:Textures:Realmling:DemoVase:MPdemo_texture.jpg

This way, Poser will be looking in the Runtime for the texture and people using your textures won't get those annoying messages saying something isn't found. (this bugs me to no end on some things I've downloaded...) Make sure you do this for every texture reference, and any transparency map references. You can also do a find and replace...or simply copy the text from the first change and then paste it over the other parts as you move through the file. When doing this, I will leave the texture name off of the info and just copy/paste over the :Runtime:Textures:Realmling:DemoVase: part.

Once you're done fixing the file paths, remember to save it and you have finished editing your matpose file.

Now we'll go to setting up our own custom png thumb and final stuff for your zip file.
